Gatlinburg 2008

Brad & Josh were the "control"
guys and you see where that
got us!!!!

Ready to raft!!!
Josh, Heather, Brad, and me
beside Abram's Fall.
This was the DANGER sign
that told of the 4 deaths that
have occurred at Abram's Falls

The Beautiful Smokey Mountains

Brad and I went to Gatlinburg this past weekend with our friends Heather and Josh and we had a great time! We got to Gatlinburg Friday night around 11 and had to get back up Saturday morning at 7:30. Boy was I tired considering I drove the whole 6 hours up there. Anyway, we went down into Gatlinburg and ate at The Log Cabin pancake house and walked around downtown until about 2. We made it to the rafting place and me and Heather was a little nervous at first. We got out there on the water and had the best time of our life though!!!! We went out to eat Saturday night and finished out the night relaxing in the hot tub. Sunday we were disappointed cause we had to come home. Heather LOVED pancakes so we ate at Flapjack's that morning before heading over to Cade's Cove. My crazy self thought that we could walk up to Abrams falls. Well, we did, flip flops and all. A 5 mile hike up and down a mountain in flip flops and mud is not all that easy. Needless to say we left out of Gatlinburg as soon as we got through. Josh and Brad were worried I would come up with another crazy idea. We are ready to go back next year!!!!!!

White Water Rafting

Brad and I are leaving tomorrow afternoon to go white water rafting with our friends Josh and Heather. I am so excited! We are going to stay in Gatlinburg and the rafting place is about 30 minutes from there. We will be getting back home sometime Sunday so I will try to take some good pictures to post when I get back.

Summer is Here

Now that summer is here Brad and I have been so busy. My little brother and his cousin made all-stars in baseball and so now that is what we do most. During the week we work and if we have time when we get off then we go watch one of them practice. Weekends are spent at the ballpark! We would do anything for both of them and love watching them play. Jordan played in a tournament a few weekends ago in Mississippi and so Sunday morning at 2:45 a.m. we left the house headed to support him. They played in some town about 5 minutes from Memphis Tenn. It took us about 5 hours to get there. Well it would have only taken us 4, but we got on the wrong track and headed straight up to Tenn. instead of going north west. That was a very long HOT day, but we really enjoyed it. We got back home around 9 that night. I guess we will go wherever we have to go to see them play.
